A Place in the Sun team in Cyprus
Jasmine Harman, Laura Hamilton, Jonnie Irwin and Amanda Lamb

A Place in the Sun Live is the UK’s largest and best attended overseas property exhibition next taking place at London Olympia 12th-14th April 2013.

The exhibition features over 150 exhibitors with homes for sale from less than £20,000 to over £1 million in all the popular property-buying destinations, including Cyprus. Many agents will be promoting exclusive show offers and discounts to make the cost of buying an overseas home even more affordable.

Channel 4 presenters Amanda Lamb, Jasmine Harman, Jonnie Irwin and Laura Hamilton will all be appearing at the exhibition giving their top tips on buying property abroad and available during the A Place in the Sun magazine signing sessions to answer your questions about buying your perfect place in the sun.

And with A Place in the Sun Editor Liz Rowlinson hosting panel sessions with industry insiders and expert Q&As, there’s everything from the fun of the hunt to the serious business of buying overseas property the right way.

Free tickets

Once again, the organisers are offering free tickets worth £10 each – and you can get yours by clicking on your complimentary ticket to A Place in the Sun Live and following the instructions.

  1. There are go properties to buy in Cyprus and good developers too.

For you people to group everyone in Cyprus as bad is not correct.

I would rather buy a property in Cyprus than in Spain or many other Mediterranean counties. The English language, driving on the correct side, the low tax rates, the climate, the friendly people, the infrastructure of roads, the beautiful beaches and mountains. The wine regions, the whole Cyprus live style and culture.

We bought an excellent villa last year in Paphos, because of the UK lead recession, some prices have dropped, but some prices have increased. There are now over 30,000 Russians/Ukrainian people living in Limassol. Cyprus is changing, the older Brits are leaving, going back for the free medical health care with the NHS and new people are arriving, nearly everyone speaks Russian in Limassol. Cyprus has looked for new markets and the new buyers love the country, this has to be good for Cyprus.

Spanish property is a much worse proposition than Cyprus, they are knocking down whole developments in Spain. Yes Cyprus is suffering a recession as the whole of Club Med is, but there is not a place I would rather be. Come to Cyprus, it’s great !

  2. Does the free ticket come with a free placard saying BUY IN CYPRUS AT YOUR OWN RISK. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !!!

  3. Experts my a.

A lot of people would not be in the positions they are in now if these experts reported the reality of buying in Cyprus.

    Are Cyprus developers banned? No.
