Serious decline in construction sector continues

The decline in the island's construction sector continued in September with the number of building permits authorised during the month falling by 30 percent compared to the same period last year.

Property sales slump slows

Concerns raised over home repossessions

As the debt crisis continues and property developers fold, some 6,000 cases are pending with the land registry relating to non-performing loans and properties held as collateral and subject to repossession.

Bank of Cyprus loan restructuring appeals

Borrowers wishing to restructure their credit facilities with the Bank of Cyprus may complete a Submission of Appeal on Restructuring Form and return it to the bank by post or email.
