Cyprus property prices up Q3 2016

The RICS Cyprus Property Prices Index for Q3 2016 reports increases in almost all districts and property types, with largest increase in apartment and house prices recorded for Limassol and Paphos respectively.

October building permits down 4 per cent

The number of building permits authorised by the municipal authorities and the district administration offices during October 2016 stood at 449 according to the Cyprus Statistical Service.

Cyprus house prices down

House prices in Cyprus fell by 3.3 per cent in the third quarter of 2016 compared to the third quarter in 2015 according to the House Price Index published yesterday by Eurostat in a news release.

New repossessed property regulations

The number of property sales contracts deposited at Land Registries across Cyprus in December was the highest recorded since September 2008 according to official figures from the Department of Lands & Surveys.
